Higher positions in Bertoša's vineyards are preserved for Teran, which as a late variety is favored by a lot of sun during the day and the flow of cold air at night.
The wine is of red ruby color, with a delicate body, pleasant acid specific for teran, the smell of prunes and forest fruits and the aroma of cinnamon. Due to moderate alcohol and aging in wood, the wine is very drinkable and well accepted. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 °C, and the wine goes well with dishes such as Istrian ox carpacio, beefsteak with truffles or dishes with forest mushroom sauce.
