The wine is adorned with a beautiful straw yellow color with darker edges, it is crystal clear and thick, after pouring into a glass it gradually opens. The scent is dominated by notes of vanilla, dried apricots, roasted quince and dried almonds, as well as floral honey and dried figs. The wine is dry, warm and soft and has a pleasant freshness, mild tannins, good minerality and is adorned with a full body. The wine is in good balance, the intensity of its taste is well expressed as well as the durability of the taste. The wine is delicious, it is nice to drink, it is harmonious and there is a note of dried almonds on the after taste. The recommended serving temperature is 10-12 C, and the wine goes well with dishes such as grouper fish from the oven.

Kaldir is a unique wine-growing part of Istria, characterized by sunny hills, a combination of continental and Mediterranean climates, and vineyards untouched by machinery. Through the valley of the river Mirna, warm sea air comes to Bertoša vineyards, which affects the temperature difference, which favors the quality of ripening of our grapes and its aroma. Beautiful hilly landscapes make it difficult to use machinery, so the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and the grapes are transported to the cellar in small quantities. This is exactly the reason why Bertoša wines are top quality, affordable, and authentic.
