Deeper golden yellow with a greenish tinge. Intense scent of ripe autumn yellow fruits, apples, pears and quinces, with some compote and spicy notes in the background. The taste is characterized by juicy minerality and the same ripe fruitiness from the nose. In the mouth it acts sumptuous, intense, even slightly spicy, although it is actually medium-bodied and moderately alcoholic.

Serious potential for storage and further development five to eight years after harvest. The most impressive is the finish, straight and long, with some ripe fruitiness, mineral salty and slightly bitter on the after taste.

The story of the Benvenuti winery is a story of family, tradition, and terroir. The winery is located in the quiet Istrian village of Kaldir, overlooking the nearby Motovun, where they cultivate three indigenous varieties - Istrian Malvasia, Teran, and Muscat. Throughout history, these varieties have been giving the best results in Istria and it is, therefore, Benvenuti winery's intention to use the advantages of this unique territory sustainably, with gratitude for being a small part of it. Family values and tradition are the key "condiments" of Benvenuti wines. They are the foundation upon which Benvenutis produce their wines which in their grape variety reflect the abundance of vineyards, located on several specific micro-locations. One of these, San Salvatore, is the heart of their varieties. The terraced configuration and the white soil, along with the micro-climate, give the grapes character which translates to very mineral, fresh wines, fully expressive of the characteristics of the varieties. These characteristics are expressed in all of Benvenuti wines, from basic to aged Malvasias, fresh and harmonious Terans, through to intensive and pleasantly acidic sweet wines. The results of focus on micro-locations and indigenous varieties - along with honest, hard work - are wines that are recognized by consumers, critics, and peers alike. Droplets of Benvenuti story are enclosed in every bottle, in lieu with their philosophy: like wine, like the winemaker. In this way, they would like to convey to you, the wine lover, the terroir on which and by which they live.
